Plantation Shutters, Properly Fitted
We have been fitting plantation shutters for over 15 years.
Every installation is carried out by our own team, from the first measurement through to the final check.
Installation Services
New shutters or supplied shutters
We can fit shutters we supply, or install shutters you have sourced elsewhere after checking the specification.
On every job
What we check on every installation
Five details that decide whether a fitted shutter operates cleanly for years or starts drifting after a season.
Frame fit and reveal assessment
Reveal depth, square frames, and the correct fixing method for the wall and window type. A frame set up correctly from the start is what prevents alignment problems down the line.
Panel alignment
Each panel is hung and checked for alignment across its full height, not just at the hinge point. Panels that drift out of true over time are usually the result of rushed fitting at the hinge stage.
Louvre operation
Every louvre is checked for smooth movement and consistent hold. Tilt-rod tension is set so the louvres operate evenly across the full panel rather than just in the middle section.
Clearances and catches
Panels need to clear sills, handles, and any furniture in the swing path. On bay windows and tight reveals this takes time to work through carefully, and it is time well spent.
Finishing and tidy-up
Minor gaps at the frame edges are finished neatly. We clear up fully before leaving - no fixings on the floor, no dust, no packaging left behind.
Installation Process
From First Visit to Finished Installation
Four steps. No handoffs, no subcontractors, the same family-run team throughout.
Home Survey
We visit, assess every window, and take our own measurements. Reveal depth, frame condition, and access considerations get checked before we recommend a panel configuration or frame style.
Specification
We confirm every detail in writing: panel layout, louvre size, frame type, finish, and fixing method. You approve the specification before anything is ordered.
Production & Lead Time
Your shutters go into production. Express orders are UK-made and usually ready in about 2 to 3 weeks; Plan & Save takes around 8 to 9 weeks. We keep you updated as manufacturing progresses.
Installation & Aftercare
We fit the shutters methodically, check alignment and operation, tidy up, and stay available afterwards if anything needs a minor adjustment.

If we have measured and specified the job ourselves, manufacturing errors are rare. If one does occur, we resolve it at no additional cost. For standalone fitting jobs where the customer has sourced the product, we advise on next steps with the supplier.
Clear the windowsill and give us reasonable access to the window. We handle everything else, including clearing up before we leave.
Yes. We stand behind our fitting work. If alignment or operation issues arise from the installation in the months after fitting, we come back and sort it.
